Chefs to End Hunger Partnership
Donating leftover food to the community
With the help of great community partners, Talking Stick Resort is an active member of the Chefs to End Hunger program which transports leftover food from Wandering Horse Buffet directly to the homeless and families in need. Three times a week, wholesale food distributor LA & SF Specialty comes to Wandering Horse Buffet here—and to The Eagles Buffet at Casino Arizona—to pick up unserved food from the buffet. Our chefs help prepare for the pickups by loading specially designed transport boxes and securing them for delivery. The food goes to Phoenix Rescue Mission in Phoenix, which provides a variety of services for those in need.

We source our seafood from high-quality producers and cook it to perfection. Bring the whole gang and join us every Friday night for choice cuts of fish and crustaceans from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Brunch
For the weekend warriors who come to play at our resort, brunch is the most important meal of the day. Other buffets only allow you to load up on small bites, but at Wickiup we offer a full brunch menu. Our casino buffet is open for brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. Enjoy the rest of your day at Apache Gold Casino Resort.
Dinner
Enjoy some dinner and lively conversation at our dinner buffet. We offer a fresh salad bar so you can be sure to get in your veggies. Wickiup also has a rotation of decadent desserts, and mouth-watering entrees. Whether you are a meat eater or want to enjoy some soup and salad, Wickiup has delicious offerings for your entire group. Join us for dinner Saturdays and Sundays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Holidays at Wickiup
Other buffets in the area close on holidays, but you can rest assured the kitchens at Wickiup will remain open to spread some holiday cheer. We offer specials for Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas as well as special seasonal menu items and drinks. Give yourself some much-needed rest and relaxation and leave the holiday cooking to our chefs.
