The Fourth of July is just around the corner which means that people will don a lot of red, white and blue, grill and get ready for some epic fireworks displays. And many of those displays, as well as a host of other themed activities, will take place at Southern California’s casinos.

Here’s a listing of some of the July 4th activities taking place at Southern California casinos.

Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage

The Rancho Mirage resort will have its annual fireworks show at 9 p.m. Thursday, July 4. The display, which can be viewed from the south lot of the casino, will be synchronized to music. Parking and admission to the event is free.

Inside the casino itself, there will be food and drink specials. And If you’re a fan of Americana swag, the casino will give away stars & stripes t-shirts to its ACE Club members at the ACE Club at noon.

There will also be “Stars & Stripes” hot seat drawings where someone will come away with $1,776 in free play every 20 minutes between 10 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. There will be one grand prize winner of $7,476 in free play at midnight.

Fantasy Springs Resort Casino

Fantasy Springs will have its firework display at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 3. The pyrotechnics will be synchronized to patriotic favorites from The Eagle 106.9 FM. Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets and low back folding chairs and gather in the parking lot surrounding the Eagle Falls Golf Course Pro Shop. The event is free.

Harrah’s Resort Southern California

If you want to celebrate July 4th with some dancing, Harrah’s Resort Southern California will have a dance competition at its pool complex, Dive, from noon-5 p.m. on Thursday, July 4. Admission is free, but guests must be 21 or older.

If you’re looking for for a cocktail themed after the holiday, Harrah’s bar Spiked has The Star-Spangled Berry, which comes with Skyy raspberry vodka, blue Curaçao, sweet and sour mix, a splash of soda water, berries and an edible garnish ($8).

Pala Casino, Spa & Resort

Pala will celebrate the Fourth of July a little bit early with a fireworks display on Saturday, June 29, at dusk at its Jim Banks Sports Complex. Pechanga Resort Casino

Pechanga Resort Casino will have its pyrotechnics show at 8:45 p.m. July 4 and it will be visible from many areas of South Temecula. The show is expected to last about 8 minutes. People who want to get a closer view of the fireworks can park at Pechanga’s parking area along Pechanga Parkway near the Pechanga Gas station. Parking is free there, but is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Casino Del Sol 4th Of July Fireworks 2020

The Pechanga Buffet will have an Independence Day menu from 9 a.m.-11 p.m. on Friday, July 5, and Saturday, July 6, with such items as fresh seafood, New York steak, smokehouse pork spare ribs and a “station of carbs galore,” according to a news release. $36.99 for adults, $22.99 for children 3-11 and free for children under 3.
